The neurocognitive turn in social science is happening, now.

Neurolinguistics and neuroethics had a slightly head-start, but neuroeconomics followed closely, and then neuromarketing, neurofinance, neuromanagement.

In seminars, when one of those neurosocial science is mentionned, people react with amusement and show a bit – or a great deal – of concern. Generally, it attracts a lot of interest.

What is an fMRI? What are the big claims neurosocial science makes? Are they warranted? What is neuroeconomics about? And the place of psychology in all that? And ethics?

This blog is a mini-forum to address those questions, focusing on economics and business sciences. It is written by:

Benjamin Mitra-Kahn

Clement Levallois

Hady Ba

Lois Miraucourt
